# The Space Industry Regulations 2021, Regulation 199: Security training for spaceflight activities involving US technology

A special launch operator must ensure that all staff carrying out spaceflight activities involving US technology, regardless of whether or not they are carrying out a security function, receive training on security measures required for US technology.
