# The Special Educational Needs (Consequential Amendments to Subordinate Legislation) Order 2014, Article 25: Amendment to the Education (Provision of Full-Time Education for Excluded Pupils) (England) Regulations 2007


In regulation 5(2)(b) of the Education (Provision of Full-Time Education for Excluded Pupil) (England) Regulations 2007 (exceptions to duty to provide full-time education) —
(a) for “a statement of special educational needs is maintained by the local authority in respect of a pupil pursuant to section 324 of the 1996 Act” substitute “an EHC plan is maintained by the local authority in respect of a pupil under section 37(1) of the Children and Families Act 2014”; and
(b) for the word “statement” at the end, substitute “plan”.
