Article 27 Amendment to the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations 2008

In Schedule 8 (sums to be disregarded in the calculation of income other than earnings) insert, after paragraph 66 insert—

“67.

Any direct payments within the meaning of section 49 of the Children and Families Act 2014 made to a claimant.”

In Schedule 9 (capital to be disregarded) insert, after paragraph 58 insert—

“59.

Any direct payments within the meaning of section 49 of the Children and Families Act 2014 made to a claimant.”
