# The Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2012, Regulation 65: Who may be a case friend

A person may only act as a case friend if the person is not barred from regulated activity relating to children within the meaning of section 3(2)(a) of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
