# The Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2012, Regulation 9: Education panel members

Extent: E+W

No person may be appointed as a member of the education panel unless the Welsh Ministers are satisfied that the person—
(a) is not eligible for appointment as a Chair; and
(b) has current knowledge and experience of children with—
(i) special educational needs; or
(ii) disabilities; or
(iii) if required, both.
