# The Special Guardianship Regulations 2005, Regulation 19: Urgent cases

Where any requirement applicable to the local authority in this Part in relation to carrying out an assessment, preparing a plan or giving notice would delay the provision of a service in a case of urgency, that requirement does not apply.
