# The Special Health Authorities (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Regulation 2: Amendment of the Prescription Pricing Authority Regulations 1990


After regulation 8 of the Prescription Pricing Authority Regulations 1990 insert the following regulation—
“Reports by the Pricing Authority
8A (1) The Pricing Authority shall make reports to the Secretary of State in such manner and at such time, being at least once each calendar year, as the Secretary of State may direct and shall furnish to the Secretary of State such information as he may from time to time require.
(2) If, in pursuance of paragraph (1) of this regulation, the Secretary of State directs the Pricing Authority to make an annual report to him for any particular year or for each year, the Pricing Authority shall present the report at a public meeting held not later than 30 days after the date on which the report was made.”.
