# The Specified Body (Consumer Claims) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 26th August 2005
Coming into force 1st October 2005
Whereas it appears to the Secretary of State that the body listed in article 2 of the following Order satisfies the criteria published by him pursuant to section 47B(9) of the Competition Act 1998 ;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 47B(9) of the Competition Act 1998 hereby makes the following Order:
