  "text": "(1) In Article 2(1) of the Specified Bovine Material (No. 3) Order 1996 the definition of scheme animal shall be replaced by the following definition–\n““scheme animal” means a bovine animal–\n(a) which has been slaughtered pursuant to the purchase scheme introduced under Commission Regulation (EC) No. 716/96 adopting exceptional support measures for the beef market in the United Kingdom; or\n(b) which, being an animal which has been exposed to bovine spongiform encephalopathy, the Minister has caused to be slaughtered under section 32(1) of the Animal Health Act 1981.”.",
