# The Specified Diseases (Notification) Order 1991, Article 2: Extension of definitions of “animals” and “disease”


For the purposes of the Act in its application to this Order—
(a) the definition of “animals” in section 87(1) of the Act is hereby extended to comprise ungulates and rabbits ; and
(b) the definition of “disease” in section 88(1) of the Act is hereby extended to comprise the diseases listed in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order.
