# The Specified Risk Material (Coming into Force Date) (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
1 These Regulations amend the Specified Risk Material (Amendment) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/2405).
2 The amendment is that those Regulations (themselves amending the Specified Risk Material Regulations 1997 (S.I. 1997/2965, as already amended by S.I. 1997/3062)) are now to come into force on 8th October 1998, not 19th October 1998.
3 No regulatory appraisal has been prepared for these Regulations.
