# Specified Risk Material Order (Northern Ireland) 1997, Article 11: Transport

Extent: N.I.

(1) Any person transporting specified risk material shall ensure that the part of the vehicle in which specified risk material has been conveyed is thoroughly washed and disinfected before any feedingstuff or any animal material or any cosmetic, pharmaceutical or medical product is placed in that part of the vehicle.
(2) In this article the expression “vehicle” means, in any case in which specified risk material is conveyed in a bulk container, that container.
