# The Spirit Drinks Regulations 2008, Regulation 24: Amount of penalty

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) The amount of the penalty must be determined by the enforcement authority and must not be less than £1,000 or more than £4,000.
(2) The factors to be taken into account by the enforcement authority in determining the amount of the penalty may include the factors mentioned in Schedule 4.
