# The Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Amendment) Order 1987, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 1985 (which designates sports grounds and sporting events for the purposes of the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985) by substituting the current full formal titles of certain competitions referred to therein. The change is purely one of nomenclature, not of substance.
