  "text": "(1) Where a relevant authority is a local authority operating executive arrangements, neither —\n(a) the elected mayor of such an authority which is operating a mayor and cabinet executive, nor\n(b) the executive leader of such an authority which is operating a leader and cabinet executive,\nshall be a member of the standards committee of that relevant authority.\n(2) Where a relevant authority is a local authority operating alternative arrangements, the chairperson of the board of that authority shall not be a member of that authority’s standards committee.\n(3) Where a relevant authority is a National Park authority or a fire authority, neither —\n(a) the chairperson, nor\n(b) the deputy chairperson (if any)\nof such an authority shall be a member of the standards committee of that authority.",
