# Stannaries Act 1887 (repealed 19.11.1998), Section 22: Relinquishment not valid unless delivered six weeks before stoppage of mine.

A relinquishment shall not have any effect if it be delivered within the six weeks immediately preceding the day on which a resolution to wind up the company shall be legally passed at a duly convened meeting of the company, or on which an order shall be made to wind up the same by or subject to the supervision of the court.
