# The State Pension Credit (Amendment) Regulations 2015, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 20th July 2015
Coming into force 6th April 2016
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 175(3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, sections 3ZA, 9(5) and 17(1) of the State Pension Credit Act 2002 and section 28(3) of the Pensions Act 2014.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
