# Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1993, Paragraph 20


(1) In section 1 of the Ferries (Acquisition by Local Authorities) Act 1919 (power to acquire ferries by agreement), after subsection (4) insert—
“(4A) For the purpose of exercising his functions under this Act, the Secretary of State may hold local inquiries.”
(2) This paragraph does not extend to Northern Ireland.
