# Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1998, Paragraph 2


In section 11 of the Slave Trade Act 1824 (seamen etc, guilty of misdemeanour) for the words “and they are hereby declared to be guilty of a misdemeanour only” substitute “ guilty of an offence ”.
