# The Statutory Maternity Pay (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2005, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Maternity Pay (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 6th April 2005.
(2) In these Regulations,“the principal Regulations” means the Statutory Maternity Pay (General) Regulations 1986.
