# The Statutory Maternity Pay (General) (Modification and Amendment) Regulations 2000, Regulation 4: Transitional provision


In relation to a woman whose expected week of confinement begins before 4th March 2001, the Contributions and Benefits Act and the Statutory Maternity Pay Regulations shall have effect as if these Regulations were not in force.
