  "heading": "Interpretation of Part 1",
  "text": "In this Part—\n“company” means a company as defined by section 1(1) of the Companies Act 2006;\n“connected property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 28;\n“connected reverse property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 29;\n“enactment” includes—\n(a) an enactment comprised in subordinate legislation (as defined in section 21 of the Interpretation Act 1978);\n(b) an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, a Measure or Act of Senedd Cymru;\n(c) an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, an Act of the Scottish Parliament;\n(d) an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, Northern Ireland legislation;\n(e) assimilated direct legislation;\n“onward property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 26;\n“onward share transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 13;\n“principal transfer power” has the meaning given by section 2(3);\n“property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 15;\n“reverse property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 27;\n“reverse share transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 14;\n“securities” has the meaning given by section 5;\n“service contract” has the meaning given by section 227 of the Companies Act 2006;\n“share transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 4;\n“specified”, in relation to regulations under this Part, means specified in the regulations;\n“supplemental property transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 25;\n“supplemental share transfer regulations” has the meaning given by section 12;\n“transfer power” means a power conferred by this Part to make any of the following—\n(a) share transfer regulations;\n(b) supplemental share transfer regulations;\n(c) onward share transfer regulations;\n(d) reverse share transfer regulations;\n(e) property transfer regulations;\n(f) supplemental property transfer regulations;\n(g) onward property transfer regulations;\n(h) reverse property transfer regulations;\n(i) connected property transfer regulations;\n(j) connected reverse property transfer regulations;\n“undertaking” has the meaning given by section 1161(1) of the Companies Act 2006.",
