# The Steeple Renewables Project Order 2026, Article 18: Compulsory acquisition of land


(1) The undertaker may acquire compulsorily so much of the Order land as is required for the authorised development or to facilitate, or is incidental, to it.
(2) This article is subject to paragraph (2) of article 19 (time limit for exercise of authority to acquire land compulsorily), article 20 (compulsory acquisition of rights), article 23 (acquisition of subsoil only), article 27 (temporary use of land for carrying out the authorised development), article 29 (statutory undertakers) and schedule 10 (protective provisions).
