# The Stipendiary Magistrates (Scotland) Order 2010, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Stipendiary Magistrates (Scotland) Order 2010 and comes into force on 4th May 2010.
(2) In this Order “SMAC” means a Stipendiary Magistrates Advisory Committee.
