# The Stock Transfer (Specified Securities) Order 1991, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 4th April 1991
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(3) of the Stock Transfer Act 1982, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, after consultation with the Bank of England, hereby make the following Order:—
