# The Strategic Planning Authorities (Spatial Development Strategy) Regulations 2026, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement, extent and application


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Strategic Planning Authorities (Spatial Development Strategy) Regulations 2026.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 26th November 2026.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and apply in relation to England only.
(4) These Regulations apply in relation to the preparation and adoption of an alteration of a spatial development strategy as they apply in relation to the preparation and adoption of a spatial development strategy.
