Article 6 Gauge of railway and motive power

The Company’s Railway shall be constructed and operated on a gauge of 1,435 millimetres (four feet eight and one half inches) and the motive power shall be diesel or steam or internal combustion or such other motive power as the Health and Safety Executive may approve.
