# The Student Support (Scotland) Regulations 2022, Paragraph 2: Residents of Ireland

Extent: S

A person who—
(a) is an Irish national or a United Kingdom national,
(b) is ordinarily resident in Ireland on the relevant date,
(c) has been ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and Islands or Ireland throughout the period of 3 years immediately preceding the relevant date, and
(d) is undertaking a course in Scotland.
