Article 2 of this Order revokes the Submarine Pipelines (Designated Owners) Order 2010 (“the 2010 Order”). The 2010 Order designated certain companies as the owners of certain submarine pipelines for the purposes of Part 3 (submarine pipelines) of the Petroleum Act 1998. The 2010 Order had become out of date because the companies designated as the owners of those particular pipelines had ceased to own them.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on business or the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
