  "text": "(1) A person guilty of an offence under article 4, 5 or 7 is liable—\n(a) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or to a fine or to both; or\n(b) on summary conviction—\n(i) in England and Wales, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both;\n(ii) in Scotland or Northern Ireland, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both.\n(2) A person guilty of an offence under article 9 or paragraph 4(b) or (d) of the Schedule is liable—\n(a) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine or to both; or\n(b) on summary conviction—\n(i) in England and Wales, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both;\n(ii) in Scotland or Northern Ireland, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both.\n(3) A person guilty of an offence under paragraph 2(3) or 4(a) or (c) of the Schedule is liable on summary conviction—\n(a) in England and Wales, to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 51 weeks or to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or to both;\n(b) in Scotland or Northern Ireland, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or to both.",
