# The Suffolk (Coroners' Districts) Order 2006, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
The county of Suffolk was divided into two coroners' districts by the Suffolk (Coroners' Districts) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/1220).
This Order amalgamates these two districts to create a single Coroner’s District. The County of Suffolk now comprises a single Coroner’s District known as the Suffolk Coroner’s District.
