# The Sugar Beet (Research and Education) Order 1991, Article 3: Assessment of contributions


The contributions from the processors and from every grower of home-grown beet who delivers beet to the processors during the year 1991-92, towards defraying the expenditure to be incurred in carrying out the programme for that year shall be assessed as follows:—
(a) in the case of any grower of home-grown beet, the contribution shall be at the rate of 10.0p for every adjusted beet tonne of home-grown beet sold by him for delivery to the processors in that year;
(b) in the case of the processors, the contribution shall be at the rate of 10.0p for every adjusted beet tonne of home-grown beet purchased by the processors in that year.
