# The Sumburgh Airport Shops Order 1987, Introduction: Introductory text


SHOPS AND OFFICES
Made 6th May 1987
Coming into force 7th May 1987
Whereas it appears to the Secretary of State that Sumburgh Airport is an airport at which there is a substantial amount of international passenger traffic:
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section1(2) of the Shops (Airports) Act 1962, and now vested in him, hereby makes the following Order:—
