# The Summer Time Order 1994, Introduction: Introductory text


SUMMER TIME
Made 2nd November 1994
Coming into force 16th November 1994
At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 2nd day of November 1994
Present,
The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Whereas copies of the draft of this Order were laid before Parliament and, in accordance with section 2(3) of the Summer Time Act 1972, each House of Parliament has presented an Address to Her Majesty praying that this Order be made:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 2(1)(a) and (2) of that Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
