# The Supreme Court Fees Order 2009, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 4th August 2009
Coming into force 1st October 2009
The Lord Chancellor, with the agreement of the Treasury, makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 52 of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005.
The Lord Chancellor has consulted in accordance with section 52(4) to (6) of that Act.
