Article 4 Transfer of pension fund etc.
On 1st April 2027 the local government pension fund maintained by Surrey County Council by virtue of regulations under section 1 of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 (schemes for persons in public service)f1 (“the fund”) vests in the Authority, together with all other functions, property, rights and liabilities which relate wholly to the fund.
The Local Government (Structural Changes) (Transfer of Functions, Property, Rights and Liabilities) Regulations 2008f2 apply in relation to any functions, property, rights and liabilities which relate partly to the fund as if the Authority were a successor council.
