  "text": "Sections 82(1), 84(2) and 90 of the Local Government Act 1972 (validity of acts done by unqualified persons, resignation and term of office of person filling casual vacancy) have effect as if references to a person appointed under, or to an office under, Part 4 of the 1985 Act included references to a person appointed under, or to an office under, this Order.",

Section 82 was also amended by paragraph 10(2) of Schedule 6 to the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Act 1988 (c. 4), and by S.I. 2001/2237. Section 90 was also amended by Part 10 of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law Repeals Act 2004 (c. 14)."
