# The Swanage Light Railway (Extension) Order 1993, Introduction: Introductory text


TRANSPORT
Made 21st June 1993
Coming into force 22nd June 1993
The Secretary of State for Transport, on the application of the Swanage Railway Company Limited, and in exercise of powers conferred by sections 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the Light Railways Act 1896, and by section 121(4) of the Transport Act 1968, and now vested in him, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
