# The Swine Fever (Movement Restriction Areas) Order 2000, Article 3: Licences


(1) The Minister, or an officer of the local authority acting under the written direction of the Minister, may grant a licence permitting movement of pigs which would otherwise be prohibited.
(2) A licence under this article shall be in writing, may be subject to conditions and may be amended or revoked by notice in writing at any time.
