# The Syria (Sanctions) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2025, Regulation 9: Amendments to regulation 23 (interpretation of Part 3)


In regulation 23 (interpretation of Part 3)—
(a) in paragraph (1)—
(i) in the definition of “branch” omit sub-paragraph (a);
(ii) omit the definition of “UK credit or financial institution”;
(b) in paragraph (2)—
(i) omit sub-paragraph (b) (and the “and” which precedes it); and
(ii) for “are to be read” substitute “is to be read”.
