Section LVI Person after Assessment removing to a Place where he was not rated for Personal Estate, Commissioners to summon and rate, unless Certificate that he was assessed and had paid.

And for the more effectual charging all Personal Estates Bee it enacted by the Authority aforesaid That if after the Assessments on p[er]sonal Estates directed by this Act shall be made any Person shall come to inhabitt or reside in any Division or Place where such Person was not rated or taxed for Personal Estate the Co[m]missioners acting within such Division or Place are hereby required and impowered to su[m]mon such Person before them and unlesse hee or she shall produce a Certificate made according to the Directions of this Act whereby it shall appeare that hee or she was assessed and had actually paid all the Precedent Quarterly Payments in some other Place for his or her Personal Estate the said Co[m]missioners shall and are hereby required to cause such Person to bee assessed for his or her Personal Estate and cause the same or such Quarterly Payments thereof as shall be unassessed and unpaid to be assessed levied and paid according to the true Intent and Meaning of this Act.
