# Taxation Act 1695, Section XL: Inhabitants in Cities, &c. not compellable to be Assessors, &c. out of Limits.


Provided alsoe That noe Person inhabiting in any City Borough or Towne Corporate shall be compelled to be any Assessor or Collector of or for any Part of the Rates and Assessments hereby granted in any Place or Places out of the Limitts of the said City Borough or Towne-Corporate.
