# Taxation, etc. (No. 2) Act 1695, Section LXV: In what Manner Duties forming yearly Fund of £179, 480, appropriated.


Applying the same otherwise; Penalty.
And be it further enacted That all the Su[m]ms of Money arising by the said Duties on Glasse or Glasse Wares Stone Bottles and Earthen Bottles and upon Tobacco Pipes Stone Ware and Earthen Ware which shall be from time to time brought into the Receipt of the Exchequer as aforesaid or so much thereof as (together with the abovesaid Duties upon Salt) shall be sufficient to make upp & compleat the yearely Fund of One hundred seventy nine thousand four hundred and eighty Pounds above mentioned or the proportionable part thereof to be payable in respect of the Moneys which shall be actually advanced in pursuance of this Act shall be appropriated and applied and the same are hereby appropriated for and towards the making upp and compleating of such yearely Fund or such proportionable part of the same and shall be issued and paid out of the said Receipt of the Excheq[uer] and be applied to and for the same Uses and Purposes and in the same Manner and forme to which the said yearely Fund or the said proportionable part thereof are hereby intended and appointed to be issued paid and applied and that as fully and effectually as if such Moneys had arisen from the Duties upon Salt abovementioned to be granted and to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever under the like Penalties Disabilities & Forfeitures to be incurred by the respective Officers of the Excheq[uer] their Clerks or Deputies for diverting or misapplying any of the Moneys ariseing by the said Duties upon Glasse or Glasse Wares Stone Bottles Earthen Bottles Tobacco Pipes Stone Ware and Earthen Ware or any of them or for not making due and regular Payments thereof without any Fee or Reward as such Officers their Deputies or Clerks respectively are to incurr for diverting misapplying or not duely paying the Moneys of the said Duties upon Salt by this Act above granted.
