# Taxation, etc. (No. 2) Act 1695, Section XLI: Members as such not liable to the Bankrupt Laws.


And be it enacted That no Member of the said Corporation shall in respect of his Stock therein onely be or be adjudged liable to be a Bankrupt within the intent and meaning of all or any the statutes made against or concerning Bankrupts And that no Stock in the said Corporation shall be subject or lyable to any Forreigne Attachment by the Custome of the City of London or otherwise.
