  "text": "Duty on Lapis Calaminaris.\nAnd whereas by a late Act intituled An Act for granting to Their Majesties certaine additional Impositions upon several Goods and Merchandizes the Su[m]m of Twenty Shillings is imposed on every Tun of Lapis Calaminaris exported from and after the First Day of May One thousand six hundred ninety two which is found by Experience to hinder the Exportac[i]on thereof and utterly to ruine the Manufacture wherefore for Remedy thereof Bee it enacted by the Authority aforesaid That from and after the Twenty fifth Day of March One thousand six hundred ninety six the Su[m]m of Two shillings onely shall bee paid for every Tun of Lapis Calaminaris exported over and above the Rates thereon charged by the Book of Rates The said Act or any thing therein contained to the contrary notwithstanding to bee collected as in and by the said Act is directed and appointed.",
