# Taxation (No. 2) Act 1697, Section LIX: Waterworks in Southwark charged in Surrey.


Provided always and be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid That all the Water-works in the Borough of Southwarke shall be rated and assessed by the Co[m]missioners & Assessors of the County of Surrey and not by the Co[m]missioners or Assessors of the City of London Any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
