Section XLII Proviso for certain Goods on Shipboard, and detained for want of Convoy.

Provided alwayes and bee it further Enacted by the Authoritie aforesaid That all Goods and Merchandize which on or before the Three and twentyeth day of October One thousand six hundred eighty nine were on Board any English Shipp or Vessell Outward bound in the River of Thames or any other Port in Their Majestyes Dominions haveing paid their Customes and shall be detained for want of Convoyes untill the Tenth day of March next ensueing shall be exempted out of this Tax.
