# Taxation (Rock Salt) Act 1698, Section XII: If Permit not shewn in Four Days, Salt forfeited.


Provided alwaies That if the said Permit or Certificate having been given as aforesaid be not shewn to such Officer within Four Daies after the Seizure thereof that then and in such case the Salt so seized shall be forfeited
