# The Tay River Purification Board (Ordie Burn) Control Order 1995, Article 2: Specification of control area


This Order—
(a) applies to all inland waters or ground waters within the control area specified in article 3 below; and
(b) relates to the abstraction of water for the purpose of irrigation—
(i) in any form; and
(ii) for the benefit of any agricultural or horticultural activity which, in itself, is carried out on a commercial basis.
