# Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2002, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) Order 2000. It inserts a new sub-paragraph into the definition of “graduate teacher” in that Order. Graduate teachers are unqualified teachers undertaking employment-based teacher training for the purposes of obtaining qualified teacher status pursuant to Part II and IV of Schedule 2 and paragraph 9 of Schedule 3 to the Education (Teachers' Qualifications and Health Standards) (England) Regulations 1999 (S.I. 1999/2166).
